Organizational framework

In the framework of the Cooperation Agreement signed between the Government of Mexico through the Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development ( SADER ) and the Food Organization of the United Nations and Agriculture ( FAO ) project UTF / MEX / 145 / MEX “ Technical support for the agricultural and fisheries policy of SAGARPA 2018-2019 ” is carried out, with the aim of providing officials responsible for agricultural and fisheries policy at the federal and state levels with evidence for public policy decision-making.

Las localidades donde se llevara a cabo el levantamiento de información son: Campeche (Carmen y Hopelchén), Chiapas (Las margaritas y Ocosingo), Chihuahua (Cuauhtémoc), Colina (Cuauhtémoc), Guanajuato (Salamanca y San Felipe), Jalisco (Tepatitlán de Morelos), Ciudad de México (Almoloya de Juárez), Michoacán (Vista Hermosa), Morelos (Cuautla, Tepalcingo y Yecapixtla), Nayarit (Santa María del Oro y Santiago Ixcuintla), Oaxaca (Santo Domingo Ingenio), Puebla (Chalchicomula de Sesma), Sinaloa (Ahome y Guasave), Sonora (Hermosillo), Tamaulipas (Casas) y Zacatecas (Sombrerete).

Tareas y responsabilidades

The “ Surveyor for the lifting of production costs for small and medium producers in Mexico ”, will be responsible for interviewing and lifting surveys of small and medium producers based on the sample assigned to them, according to your place of residence and knowledge of the environment. This activity will be carried out for the Spring-Summer cycle for crops of yellow corn, white corn, rice, beans and sorghum, including for those crops that are feasible, considering the priorities of SIAP-SADER. The above, in support of “ Specialist in methodologies for calculating production costs for small and medium producers in Mexico ”

En específico, el/la “Encuestador /a para el levantamiento de costos de producción de pequeños y medianos productores de México”, realizará las siguientes actividades:

  •  Se capacitará en la gestión de cursos mandatarios de la FAO, inclusive iniciador de viajes; Security Clearance (SC), Local Travel Report (TA)
  •  Se capacitará en la metodología y el uso del instrumento de captación de datos en campo (encuesta) y en el sistema de captura de la información recabada.
  •  Formulará su plan de trabajo de levantamiento y gestionará autorización de viajes en plataformas de los sistemas ONU-FAO.
  •  Aplicará las encuestas diseñadas para el levantamiento de costos de producción a pequeños y medianos productores, mediante entrevista, de acuerdo con la muestra que le sea asignada.
  •  Capturará en la plataforma definida para recabar los datos de las encuestas, la información levantada en campo. En caso de que algún dato sea inconsistente, se solicitará al/la encuestador /a realice los ajustes necesarios hasta su validación.
  •  Participará en reuniones para la planeación (nacional / regional / local), diseño e implementación de las encuestas; así como en aquellas otras requeridas para integrar reportes e informes que el / los coordinadores del componente y/o del proyecto pudiesen requerirle.

LOS CANDIDATOS SERÁN EVALUADOS CON ARREGLO A LOS SIGUIENTES CRITERIOS:

Requisitos mínimos

  •  Profesional y/o técnico en ciencias agrícolas o economía: Agronomía, Agroindustria, Alimentos, Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia, Economía, Antropología, Sociología, Economía Agrícola, Geografía con énfasis en el sector rural y pesquero.
  •  5 años de experiencia como encuestador, indispensable estar familiarizado en el levantamiento de encuestas a productores agropecuarios, en campo.
  •  3 años de experiencia en el trato con pequeños y medianos productores rurales.
  •  Practical knowledge of the Spanish language (level C).
  •  Mexican nationality or resident in the country with a regular work permit. Indispensable knowledge of the local environment of the federative entity for which you apply. Preferably that you have residence in the place of application.
