Mission :

You will be responsible for supporting the Country Director in the development of ACF programs in the DRC.
Specifically, you will have the following missions :
Develop a strategic vision: by maintaining a clear vision of current and future program objectives and strategies, by contributing to the development of strategies across the country, and, by analysing the humanitarian situation in the DRC and ensuring that it is integrated into the programmes or by feeding the mission’s piloting tools.
To provide leadership on programmes: by developing a common vision for the success of programmes in the DRC through the development and monitoring of appropriate indicators, and, by ensuring that programmes meet donor and internal obligations, by monitoring ongoing initiatives, and, by piloting the process of writing project proposals or by piloting the search for funding in the DRC.
To guarantee the performance and quality of the programs: by supporting and guiding the head of the department monitoring/evaluation and learning, ensuring that the tools of monitoring / evaluation shall be used effectively by the teams, ensuring technical harmonisation in the design and implementation of the programmes at the various intervention sites, and, by monitoring the compliance of the implementation of programs or by ensuring proactive and transparent communication with donors.
Supervise the team of Technical Departments Managers and the Grants & Reporting unit: by maintaining a favourable working environment, by providing team members with information / tools and other resources to improve performance and achieve goals, providing a leadership role for overall orientation and framing as well as promoting their work or ensuring fluid communication.

Profile :

You have a graduate degree in one or more technical areas related to nutrition, food security and/or HAE, or, or other studies supplemented by technical experience in these same sectors.
You have 3 to 5 years of field experience in humanitarian and/or development programs within international NGOs. Experience in the DRC would be a plus.
You have at least 1 year’s experience in coordinating humanitarian /development programmes, including technical supervision of projects and development of technical strategies.
You have very good management and leadership skills and a very good analytical ability.
You master French and English perfectly, both orally and orally’written.
