Street Child believes that every child deserves the chance to go to school and learn. Our projects focus on a combination of education, child protection, and livelihood support to address the social, economic, and structural issues that underpin today’s education crisis. We partner with local organizations and communities to deliver our locally rooted programmes, using evidence to drive learning and the refinement and scale-up of programmes to create maximum impact for most children at the lowest cost.
We pride ourselves on being willing to go to the world’s toughest places where others won’t, including remote, hard-to-reach areas and fragile, disaster-affected states across sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Since 2008 we have helped over 338,000 children to go to school and learn and supported over 29,000 families to set up businesses so they can afford the cost of educating their children.
2. Score of Work
Street Child is looking to purchase a system that can manage the following general requirement. However, it is to be noted that these are not all the requirement. We have approximately 25 employees in the organization.
2.1 Employee Information Management
- Must be able to create individual employee profiles with multiple tiered information about them.
- Employees must be able to login to their profile.
- Supervisors can be assigned to each employee who approves their requests.
2.2 Leave and Attendance Management
- Create different types of leaves in the system.
- Create different types of organizational holidays in the system.
- Leave requests and approvals.
- Leave tracking and reporting.
- Employee must check in in the system for attendance and supervisor must approve it.
- Leave summary.
2.3 Online recruitment management
- Able to accept job application, categorize it, sort filter and shortlist candidates according to relevant criteria.
- Auto reply candidates about the receipt of the application.
2.4 Payroll Management
- Income, deduction, taxation, allowance, pay calculation, pay slip etc. 2.5 Project and Timesheet
- Able to create different project funded by different donors.
- Able to allocate employee contribution % towards that project.
- Employee should be able to fill in their timesheet as per their charging % into different projects.
2.6 Performance Management
- Set performance goals and indicators of measurement.
- Monitor performance and improvement.
Appraisal. 2.7 Administration
- Must be able to define designation and grades.
- Different branch offices in different locations.
- Allocate employee to different designation and branches.

4. Mandatory Documents Required
i. Certificate establishing their registration with federal, state or local government whichever is or are required;
ii. Documents establishing their nature of business and license to conduct such business in Nigeria;
iii. Certificate establishing their compliance with tax laws and proof of payment of taxes regularly as required by the law;
iv. Audit report of the last Financial Year in order to review the financial health of the company;
v. Certification by any professional body depending upon the nature of the business; vi. SCUML certificate;
vii. Policies and procedures relating to anti-money laundering and combating to terrorist financing and internal control policies and procedures (if applicable); viii. Letter of reference, recommendations or appreciation given by other previous clients such as government offices, commercial banks, international humanitarian/development agencies, or any other reputed companies and organization so as to establish the service quality, reliability and credibility.
