Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) for emergency relief and development. SIF acts in strict neutrality, without distinction of origin, gender or religion and is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the poorest populations in the world.
SIF is looking for a mission security assistant(e) for its offices based in Massy (91).
Context
Within the international operations department, the’Assistant(e) Mission Security provides administrative support to the Security Reference as well as’a support in terms of geopolitical monitoring and updating of security management tools and documents in order to’ optimize the implementation of mission security. He/she is also in charge of screening.
As such, the’Assistant(e) Security of missions in collaboration with the Security Reference will be brought(e) to (non-exhaustive and evolving list of missions) :
– Update the screening procedures and ensure the screening of the partners and suppliers of FIS
– Participate in providing technical support to international missions
– Assist in the compilation of security and geopolitical information
– Develop one or more subject(s)/thematic(s) according to the needs or interests of the DPOI and the missions
Profile
- Diploma required : Bac 4/5 political sciences, international relations or equivalent (project management/training in safety management)
- Geopolitical knowledge of’intervention areas (Africa, Middle East) appreciated
- A first experience (humanitarian) field in a context of’insecurity will be a real plus
- Capacity for synthesis, critical analysis and priority management
- Methodology and ability to transmit and restore, guide
- Good relationship and strength of proposal
- Proficiency in French and current English
