For thirty years, the international NGO Acted has been working on the last kilometer of humanitarian action to save lives. Acted currently supports 20 million people in 43 countries to meet their needs in hard-to-reach areas, and pursues a triple humanitarian, environmental and development role. Acted relies on a detailed knowledge of local territories and contexts to develop and implement long-term actions, with a wide range of local and international partners, in order to build together a world “ 3ZERO ”: Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty

Acted Mali

Since 2012, Acted has been mobilized in Mali in response to the complex crisis and structural and economic challenges facing the country, with interventions that combine emergency operations and development programs. The’Acted teams (today’Hui 11 international employees and 160 national employees) supported more than ’1 million people in 6 regions of Mali: Segou, Mopti, Gao, Menaka, Timbuktu and Bamako.

Main role and responsibilities

In close collaboration with the consortium partners, the, the Consortium Coordinator guarantees that the implementation of the consortium project is in accordance with the approved proposals and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the lessor. the Consortium Coordinator facilitates close and effective coordination between the consortium partners, ensures high quality documentation of the project activities and ensures that the project results are achieved.

Qualifications and skills required

  • At least 5 years of’ experience in implementing projects in the field, preferably in an international context
  • Have a strong team spirit’
  • Knowledge of the’aide system and ability to understand the requirements of donors and governments
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to coordinate and manage project staff and activities
  • Proven ability to work creatively and independently, both in the field and’ in the office.
  • Ability to organize and plan effectively
  • Ability to work with groups of people from different cultures
  • Ability to travel and work in difficult conditions and under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the local language and/or regional experience is an asset.

Conditions

  • Salary defined by the Acted salary grid according to the level of’studies,’expertise, the level of
    security and level of’experience: between 2900 and 3100 € monthly net (before income taxes)
  • Monthly living expenses allowance 300$
  • Guesthouse accommodation and food supported by Acted
  • Social security, mutual insurance (MSH) and repatriation assistance (SOS International) supported by Acted
  • Transport to the mission and return ticket fully supported every 6 months (to the specified’address
    on the employment contract)
  • Visa fees supported by Acted
  • R&R every 3 months (aircraft ticket’ supported up to’ 500$ + additional allowance of 200$)
  • One week of preparation for departure including 4 days of immersion safety training
  • Annual leave from 25 to 43 days per year
  • Possibility of’having a call of 30 minutes with a consultant in taxation
  • Psychological support (meet with a professional.le)
