The general objective of the Santé Habitat program is to contribute to reducing inequalities in access to health, in particular by improving access to prevention, care and the rights of people living in squats, shanty towns and other similar places of the Montpellier metropolitan area. In a community health approach, it is a question of promoting the strengthening of people’s capacities so that they can take control of their health and assert their health rights. The program operates according to a “go-to” principle and deploys various forms of monitoring people’s health journey.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Under the hierarchical responsibility of regional coordination, your main missions are to design, pilot, coordinate, adapt and evaluate the Habitat Health program, to propose strategies, objectives and action plans, and to lead and manage a team of volunteers.

Your main responsibilities are:

Coordination and monitoring of the implementation of activities

  • Ensure the regularity of outings to the various intervention sites
  • Be responsible for monitoring referrals made to medical or social structures
  • Ensuring the quality of health mediation practices
  • Organize and structure operational partnerships with relevant associations and institutions
  • Coordinate program activities in conjunction with operational partners and according to the locations of intervention and the objectives set
  • Facilitate and ensure the writing of activity reports and balance sheets
  • Keep the practical guide for the Habitat Health mission up to date
  • Guarantee the quality of data collection, in particular in connection with the Access to Care Observatory
  • Ensure thematic monitoring linked to the themes of housing health, slum clearance and access to housing/accommodation
  • Ensure follow-up of possible legal disputes
  • Find interpreters and other speakers needed for program activities

Animation and coordination of the team

  • Coordinate and lead the volunteer team jointly with mission managers
  • Ensure coordination meetings and team meetings are held
  • Participate in recruitment and coordinate integration processes
  • Identify training needs, organize training on the themes of health rights, posture and any relevant medical theme
  • Disseminate a culture of psychosocial risk prevention (briefs, debriefs, monitoring, practice analysis groups, etc.)

Representation, partnerships and advocacy

  • Represent the association in coordination bodies
  • Participate in discussions on the theme of health & housing
  • Write reports, collect testimonies, fuel advocacy
  • Organize the speech of the people concerned and their participation in interinstitutional decision-making spaces
  • Ensure with reference health structures the quality of reception and care for vulnerable people
  • Ensure communication relating to the program and respond to media requests

Strategic thinking and program writing

  • Organize a participatory process of reflection on the operational and advocacy objectives of the program, ensure their adequacy with the association’s political struggles
  • Finalize the definition of relevant indicators as well as the writing of the various program documents, disseminate them and facilitate their appropriation
  • Write advocacy documents

Administrative, financial, legal and logistical management

  • Ensure the search for funding, the drafting of project proposals as well as monitoring and reporting
  • Supervise the administrative management of the program
  • Track interpreter billing hours
  • Ensure the construction and budgetary monitoring as well as the logistics of the program
  • Guarantee compliance with legal and administrative rules
  • Maintain legal and contextual monitoring.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Status: Employee

Contract: Fixed-term contract (13 months)

Full time

Gross monthly salary of 3,306 euros
Position status: supervisor
13th month equivalent paid in 2 installments – from 6 months of effective work seniority
Mutual (60% participation of MdM and 40% of the employee)
22.5 RTT / year
5 weeks of paid leave / year
Restaurant vouchers worth 9.00 euros (contribution up to 60% of MdM)
Reimbursement of public transport ticket at 50%
Teleworking agreement subject to the eligibility of your position: 110 days of teleworking per year (i.e. on average 2.5 days of teleworking per week) with the obligation to work in person at least 5 days per month
Occasional trips to Médecins du Monde headquarters in Saint-Denis (93) to be planned

REQUIRED PROFILE :

Higher training in project management
Experience in project management of at least 3 years
Good knowledge of the French socio-health system
Knowledge of the health and social field, the system of access to rights and care in France for people in precarious situations.
Knowledge and experience desired in supporting people in a multicultural context.
Knowledge and experience in the field of prevention and health promotion
