In the Lens-Hénin district (former Pas-de-Calais mining area), Médecins du Monde wishes to help reduce the avoidable mortality rate through a prevention and health promotion program. The intervention is structured around three main health themes: prevention of cardiovascular risks, organized cancer screening and sexual and reproductive rights and health. This involves co-constructing a global health approach with the people concerned, populations, local civil society organizations and institutions. The second project cycle concerns several municipalities in the Lens-Hénin district over a period of 5 years (2024 – 2028).

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Under the hierarchical responsibility of regional coordination, your mission is to design, manage, coordinate, adapt and evaluate the program in its various aspects, including the supervision of a salaried team of two people and a team of volunteers. .

Your main responsibilities are:

Coordination, implementation and monitoring of the project

  • Plan, implement the project and ensure operational monitoring of activities in the territory
  • Guarantee the quality of activities, build and deploy an advocacy plan
  • Supervise data collection, ensure quality and produce indicators
  • Write all documents and reports relating to the program and activities, as well as regular reports, transmit them to the hierarchy
  • Ensure legal and contextual monitoring
  • Ensure administrative, budgetary and logistical management of activities

Supervision and animation of the project team

  • Supervise the prevention animation team (two people)
  • Contribute to the recruitment of new volunteers, encourage their integration and participation in activities
  • Decide on the measures to take in the event of difficulty, malfunction and/or incident
  • Contribute to sharing the values ​​and orientations of the association with the salaried and volunteer teams
  • Guarantee the safety of teams and carry out security monitoring

Representation and development of strategic partnerships

  • Carry out the association’s advocacy, particularly those concerning access to care and rights
  • Represent the association with all partner entities of the project, participate in the various meetings, organize and lead some of them
  • Promote the development of new partnerships
  • Search for new financing and take part in negotiations
  • Ensure internal and external communication relating to activities

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Contract: Permanent contract

  • Position to be filled as soon as possible
  • Gross monthly salary of 3,306.32 euros
  • Position status: supervisor
  • 13th month equivalent paid in 2 installments – from 6 months of actual work seniority
  • Mutual (60% participation of MdM and 40% of the employee)
  • 22.5 RTT / in
  • 5 weeks of paid vacation / year
  • Restaurant vouchers worth 9.00 euros (60% contribution from MdM)
  • Public transport ticket reimbursement at 50%
  • Teleworking agreement subject to eligibility of your position: 110 days of teleworking per year (i.e. on average 2.5 days of teleworking per week) with the obligation to work face-to-face at least 5 days per month
  • B license essential
  • Availability required occasionally in the evening or on weekends

REQUIRED PROFILE :

  • At least three years of experience managing a salaried team
  • Experience and knowledge in health prevention, health education and/or popular education, community health
  • Good oral communication
  • Ability to persuade, leadership
  • Adaptability, pressure tolerance, energy
  • Languages: fluent French
  • B license essential
  • Availability required occasionally in the evening or on weekends (meetings, training, etc.).
  • You adhere to the values ​​and activist positioning of Médecins du Monde.
