Tearfund Burkina Faso is looking for an accountability assistant. The Accountability Assistant is responsible for managing accountability, information, monitoring-evaluation and learning for humanitarian projects in accordance with the global procedures defined by Tearfund.
- Contribute to the proper functioning of the complaints and feedback management system in all Tearfund humanitarian projects in Burkina Faso;
- In collaboration with MEAL, implement project monitoring and evaluation mechanisms in order to guarantee the quality of the implementation of interventions.
- Contribute to strengthening the capacities of project teams and partners in the development of MEAL tools and in the management of complaints and feedback;
- Regularly update the various databases by compiling information from all Tearfund humanitarian projects in Burkina Faso.
- Participate in the development of appropriate communication strategies with the various stakeholders.
- Participate in various meetings related to MEAL and accountability and monitor best practices and knowledge in these areas
The candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication skills and be an excellent negotiator and problem solver.
