Trump Raised Over $5 Million For Re-election On Impeachment Day
Trump Raised Over $5 Million For Re-election On Impeachment Day, Trump’s campaign team revealed $5 million in donation flooded in on impeachment day alone
President Donald Trump raised over $5 million for re-election in 2020 on the same day that Democrats voted in favor of his impeachment, according to the president’s campaign team.
Now On Wednesday, while House Democrats were pushing their partisan campaign to impeach their president, donations flooded in from Trump’s supporters.
However following the vote, Trump’s campaign manager Brad Parscale wrote in a tweet that the staggering $5m was taken in a single day.
Now Parscale shared a link to a Trump campaign website created to collect donations for the president’s reelection bid.
“Incredible fundraising numbers!” he declared
Democrats voted to impeach President Trump on two articles. Two articles of impeachment were voted on by the House — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
On the first article, the House voted 230 -197, and 229-198 on the second article.
Democratic Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard broke from her caucus, voting “present.”
However No Republicans voted in favor of the impeachment of President Trump.
Incredible fundraising numbers!@realDonaldTrump has raised over 5M dollars (still growing) today as Americans use their wallet to show support against @SpeakerPelosi’s impeachment hoax!

Futhermore the Democrats’ vote is acting as a buttress for Trump’s presidential campaign.
On Sunday, Parscale made a similar claim, telling his Twitter followers the campaign raked in huge amounts of donations.
Raised 10MM+ = Greater than $10,000,000 in donations in one week. 🤔

Also, the campaign reportedly received roughly $10 million in one week as Democrats were pursuing impeachment charges against President Trump.
Now In comparison, many of the Democratic primary candidates failed to raise $10 million in the entire third quarter of 2019, including Julian Castro, Tom Steyer, Amy Klobuchar, and Cory Booker. The Democrats’ impeachment campaign is backfiring as support for Trump surges.
Also the Democrats’ push to impeach Trump also appears to be backfiring elsewhere, as polls show a surge in support for the president against 2020 Democratic candidates.
President Trump is beating top Democratic front runner Joe Biden by three percentage points in a head-to-head matchup, according to the new USA Today / Suffolk University poll of registered voters.
The president was also up by eight points and five points against Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.
President Trump is also leading South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg by double digits.
The president touted the poll on Twitter, saying it showed “the American people are smart.” “The new USA Today Poll, just out, has me leading all of the Democrat contenders.”
