Zoom on the Recruitment & Course Service
The Recruitment & Course Service consists of 14 people. The mission of its members is to recruit international staff deployed in the field, throughout our areas of intervention (5 distinct geographical poles), and, to offer them HR follow-up throughout their mission and to anticipate their next contract in a career management logic.
And the Recruitment Officer· in all this?
As a Recruitment Officer, you will be in charge of’ supporting the recruitment of expatriates for the’ set of assignment areas.
For this purpose, your responsibilities will be as follows :
Expat Recruitment: You will be responsible for receiving, formatting, broadcasting, updating and deleting recruitment ads on the appropriate distribution channels. Depending on the needs, and by delegation of the Human Resources Missions, you will completely manage certain expatriate recruitment processes. You will be in charge of active recruitment on professional social networks and of continuous’alimentation of the pool of candidates for expatriate positions. You will participate in school relations and employment forums. You will develop and distribute the newsletter RH (« Fil Rouge ») to the members of the pool.
Cross-cutting activities : You will participate proactively in the reflection and constant improvement of HR policies, procedures and tools (updating, evolution, creation, etc.). You will contribute to HR transversal projects, as well as’ to any inter-service projects requiring an HR vision.
The challenges ahead of you:
1/Provide global support for international recruitment to the 5 HR managers in our different geographical areas (Africa, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Latin America, Syrian Crisis) 2/ Provide specific recruitment support on the opening of posts related to emergencies in ongoing crises
What you will need to succeed
Formation
A training in human resources management, mobility management and/or psychology will be appreciated.
Experience
You are strong of’an experience in a position similar to the headquarters of’une NGO or’a professional experience of 2 years minimum in recruitment. Humanitarian experience in international NGOs and in the field will be greatly appreciated. Have you worked with First International Emergency? It will be an undeniable asset!
Skills
You are able to drive a complete recruitment process, from the’ expression of need to’ to the promise of’ hiring to the selected candidate. You know how to conduct a selection interview and validate the motivations and transversal skills of’a candidate. You show’empathy and practice the’ active listening. Qualities required
You show a good relationship, ease of communication, both in writing and orally, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate reliability and a sense of responsibility, rigor and organization, responsiveness and adaptability. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.
Languages
Do you master French and’anglais? These are two essential languages for this position !

PUI will propose
Status: Employee(e)
Salary: 2700 EUR gross monthly over 12 months
Medical coverage: 80% of the mutual Health and Providence
Support: Support up to 50% of the ticket and up to 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of 9€)
Rest: 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month (37h/week)
