Zoom on the Management Control Service

The Management Control Service is made up of 10 people. The mission of its members is to monitor the proper management of the budgets allocated to the association for the implementation of humanitarian programs on international missions.

And the Project Manager Development Financial Tools in all of this?

As Project Officer – Development Financial Tools, under the direct supervision of the Management Control Officer, you will be in charge of supporting First International Emergency in its projects to transform or improve financial tools.

To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows :

Deployment of the Timesheet project: You will be in charge of defining and ensuring compliance with the annual deployment schedule of the project on missions, in pairs with the person in charge of the Homer deployment. For each deployment, you will have to organize presentation and steering sessions of the project, deploy management tools and train the personnel of each mission during the trip and adapt the training materials to the headquarters and field teams. You will be in charge of capitalization following feedback.

Creation of a new head office budget monitoring tool: You will be in charge of developing a head office budget monitoring tool and establishing an analytical classification of head office costs. You will have to define, in relation to the head office accounting department, new head office budgetary control processes.

Development of other financial tools: You will be in charge of developing the financial part of the project management software ( AidPortfolio ) and you will support the deployment on the missions. You will support accounting on the deployment of SAGE in the field by creating budget control tools. You will contribute to the creation of financial monitoring tools for operational partners. You will participate in the reflection and writing of specifications on the development of an ERP Finance intended for the field.

The challenges that lie ahead:

In autonomy on the development of tools, in strong collaboration with the financial management on budgetary control headquarters and in team for the development of Thesheets, this position brings rich and varied interactions.

What you need to succeed

  • Training: You can justify initial training in management and / or accounting.
  • Experience: You have a lot of experience in a similar position at the headquarters of an NGO. You have field experience as an Administrative and Financial Coordinator and / or in the development of financial tools. Have you ever worked with First International Emergency? It will be an undeniable asset!
  • Skills: You master the SAGA software, know SAGE and SAGE / PowerBI. Do you have a taste for training, support for teams in the field ? This position is made for you!
  • Qualities required: You show good relationships, ease of communication, both in writing and in oral, and you have a taste for teamwork. You show reliability and sense of responsibility, rigor and organization, responsiveness and adaptability. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.
  • Languages: Do you speak French and English fluently ? This is essential for this position !

  • Status: Frame
  • Salary: 3100 EUR gross monthly over 12 months
  • Medical cover: 80% of the Health and Welfare mutual
  • Support: Support for 50% of the transport ticket and up to 60% of the Tickets Restaurant ( with a face value of 9 € )
  • Rest: 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month ( 37h / week )
