COSPE, an organization committed to international cooperation, social justice, and migration for over 40 years, is seeking a Project Coordinator and Country Representative for its office in Cape Verde, on the island of Fogo.
Job description: The selected Project Coordinator will oversee and implement the project “Destino Fogo: Sustainable Ecological Development of Tourism and Innovation in Fogo,” funded by the European Union. This role involves promoting and supervising initiatives related to sustainable ecotourism, environmental issues, and representing COSPE in the country.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in project management, preferably in international cooperation or related to sustainable development.
- Knowledge and expertise in sustainable tourism, natural resource management, and territorial planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with local partners, project teams, and other involved organizations.
- Knowledge of the socio-cultural context and dynamics of Cape Verde will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in written and spoken Portuguese and italian is indispensable.
