Tearfund is seeking an Operations Officer in the Eurasia and North Africa Region to provide operational support to our Tearfund office based in Erbil-Iraq.
As the Operations Officer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of various operational aspects essential for the success of the organization. This multifaceted role encompasses oversight of risk management, procurement & logistics, information technology (IT), administration, liaison and public relations, transportation, HR, and other related duties.
Additionally, the Operations Officer responsibilities is instrumental in maintaining a secure, compliant, and well-organized environment to support the organization’s objectives while upholding core values and standards.
Do you have?
- Degree and/or appropriate equivalent qualification in a support function (Finance; HR/Admin; Logs)
- Previous experience in a similar role and working with an INGO.
- Good experience in Accounting/ Treasury management.
- Experience in managing cash books and paying petty transactions.
- Experience working with accounting, HR/ Admin and Finance Policies & Procedures
- Experience of external representation and engagement with stakeholders of different levels and online systems.
- Experience liaising with government authorities in Iraq/KRI.
- Experience with Procurement and other
- Experience in gathering and analysing security information and recommending appropriate actions
- Experience in payroll management
