We are seeking experienced and dynamic Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Consultants to contribute to our impactful projects in the MENA region. We are dedicated to fostering inclusive economies and societies, and are looking for motivated individuals with proven track record in MEL, capable of delivering high-quality outcomes in collaboration with international donors.
Building MENA MEL Consultant Roster
Expectation State is building a dynamic roster of MEL consultants across the MENA region in various sectors. We are on the lookout for skilled, innovative and passionate Senior and Junior MEL practitioners specialising in:
- Migration – displacement and refugees
- Humanitarian assistance and emergency response
- Financial Inclusion
- Digital rights, security and internet freedom
- Human rights and social protection
- Entrepreneurship (SMEs and MSMEs)
- Private sector engagement and development
- WASH, public health and education
- Food security, livelihoods and agriculture
- Climate and resilience
Specifically, we are looking for:
- Ensure adherence to international MEL standards and best practices;
- Conduct capacity-building workshops and training sessions,fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement;
- Proven experience in designing and implementing MEL systems for projects in the MENA region;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Familiarity with the cultural and contextual nuances of the MENA region.
