Intern – Study Camp (English) (Ashinaga Uganda) At Ashinaga

The Ashinaga Africa Initiative will be welcoming 25 students from 25 different sub-Saharan African countries to our leadership program in Kampala, Uganda, where they will participate in academic training in their fields of interest and receive support to apply to universities around the world.

Through education, Ashinaga seeks to empower its students so that they can make the changes they desire in their communities, countries and in Africa as a whole. These students have lost one or both parents and were chosen especially for their academic abilities, financial vulnerability and leadership potential.

Students participate in a Study Camp (July to December), which focuses on academic improvement as well as university applications. We are looking for interns to support these students in preparing for the Certificate of Proficiency in Portuguese Language for Foreigners (CELPE-Bras), the National Secondary Education Examination (ENEM) and various entrance exams, also focusing on specific subjects for their courses of interest. .

The interns’ responsibilities will focus on preparing students for university life in another culture. The practice of teaching will allow you to improve decision-making skills and overcome challenges, in addition to boosting development both personally and professionally.

Join us and make a big impact on these students’ lives, learning more about yourself and experiencing a rich multicultural exchange.
