In France and abroad in nearly 30 countries, our actions are aimed at facilitating access to the health system by working on 5 priority themes structuring our struggles and our advocacy for health and health care : emergencies and crises, sexual and reproductive health, risk reduction, migration, rights and health and health-environment.
The Africa cluster is currently composed of’a pole manager and four desk managers as well as two’s programme support officers and three health referents. The activities of the cluster focus on Emergencies and Crises, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and Risk Reduction (drug use and sex work) programs.
DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION :
From the offices of our mission in Ivory Coast and under the supervision of the head of the Africa cluster based at the headquarters, we, you provide technical support to project teams to ensure the quality of health practices within programmes in their definition and implementation. You have a functional link with the head of the quality of practices division of the health and advocacy department (DSP).
The geographical scope of this post currently covers the following countries: Ethiopia, Tanzania and Burkina Faso. Depending on the needs, the portfolio can be reviewed and support can be requested on the other missions of the cluster, namely Nigeria, Madagascar, Cote d’Ivoire, DRC and CAR.
Your main responsibilities are as follows :
- Contribuer à l’élaboration de la stratégie opérationnelle et de la stratégie de plaidoyer des programmes et participer au développement et à la construction des projets
- Participer à la définition des indicateurs, au suivi et à l’évaluation ainsi qu’à l’analyse et à la valorisation des données en santé
- Superviser la planification et le suivi des activités en santé
- Contribuer à l’élaboration, à la mise en œuvre et à l’adaptation des outils, des protocoles et des cadres de référence pour les programmes
- Assurer la veille et l’analyse de la situation sanitaire et des politiques de santé sur les pays de votre portefeuille
- Superviser et analyser la gestion des produits pharmaceutiques
- Participer au recrutement du personnel de santé et aux briefings des équipes
- Apporter un appui technique afin d’assurer la santé des équipes
- Représenter l’association lors de conférences
- Intervenir dans les formations internes MdM
- Contribuer à la rédaction de rapports ou d’articles scientifiques
CONDITIONS D’EMPLOI :
Statut : Salarié
Contrat : Contrat à durée déterminée
Durée : 12 mois
- Poste à pourvoir dès que possible
- Salaire brut mensuel de 3 362 euros
- Équivalent 13ème mois versé en 2 fois – à partir de 6 mois d’ancienneté de travail effectif
- Prime d’expatriation de 10% du salaire brut par mois
- Prise en charge du transport (domicile – mission), des visas, des vaccins
- Hébergement en maison collective ou indemnité logement
- 22.5 RTT / an
- 5 semaines de congés payés / an
- Mutuelle (participation à 60% de MdM et 40% du salarié)

PROFIL RECHERCHE :
- Profil médecin, infirmier.ère, sage-femme/maïeuticien
- Connaissances ou expériences en santé publique
- Field experience of 3 /4 years minimum in NGOs on positions of medical coordination
- Training or knowledge in project management desired
- Languages: french and english common in oral as in writing essential
