Head of Institutional Funding & Grants Delivery At War Child International

Background

In January 2024, War Child has formed an alliance – the international body that manages War Child’s activities across the world. The War Child Alliance is a global network of child protection actors working to safeguard and educate children living with violence and armed conflict. The Alliance includes War Child organisations from the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Sweden, Children in Conflict in the US, and implementing offices in 14 conflict affected countries.

About War Child Alliance

The War Child Alliance demands that every child caught up in a conflict gets the help they need to navigate through the danger, protect their mental health, stay connected to their family and access their right to an education. We are a global network specialised in delivering high-impact programmes that are rebuilding lives from Afghanistan to Ukraine. We are led by children’s needs, respect their rights, and put them at the centre of the solution – from reintegrating child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo to upholding the rights of children caught up in the juvenile justice in Afghanistan. We look forward to a world in which the lives of children are no longer torn apart by war. This is a vision that can only be realised through the collective actions of children themselves, communities and their leaders, organisations like War Child, governments and key decision makers.
