About Us:

INTERNATIONAL WARS AND DISASTERS VICTIMS’ PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (IRVD) is a non -governmental organization established by a group of volunteers in Syria during the crisis in 2012 and registered in the USA, Sweden, and turkey.

IRVD is implementing projects through regional offices in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, and Somalia.

Our work sectors are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Shelter &Non-food items, Wash and Sanitation.

IRVD also manages development projects, advocates to empower civil societies and local governance

Job Description

IRVD is seeking a guard to patrol the building perimeter and premises and note the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other individuals. Directing visitors to reception and logging their access to the premises. Monitoring our video surveillance system and reviewing footage if necessary

Responsibilities:

  • Secures the protection of the place in charge of guarding and adhering to the instructions of the Security and Safety Department
  • Maintaining the integrity of the designated site
  • Monitoring and neutralizing hazards and damage from the site
  • Report any danger threatening the site to the responsible supervisor
  • Being permanently present during working hours at the security headquarters
  • Commitment to the guarding programmed being developed
  • Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Ability to:

  • Ability to conduct work in a professional and mature manner
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

  • At least a Secondary education certificate.
  • Proficient in spoken and written Arabic and English

Languages:

  • Excellent digital literacy, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Promote and encourage a culture of compliance and ethics throughout IRVD. As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of IRVD and donor compliance and ethics standards and adhere to those standards. Conducts work with the highest level of integrity. Communicate these values to staff and partners and require them to adhere to them.

Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within IRVD

and amongst beneficiaries served by IRVD
