WHAT DO WE DO …

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association which, for more than 40 years, has provided relief to populations victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by responding to vital needs, drinking, eating and shelter. Particularly committed to the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and promotion hygiene but also in the essential aspect of food security and means of existence. Present in around twenty countries, the SI teams – 2,000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, a few volunteers, etc. – intervene with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.

Within SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL, the Accountability and Partnership Development (RDP) Department plays a key role in funding management. The RDP is made up of 4 services, the External Audits Service, the Subsidies Management and Implementation Partnerships Service, the Institutional Cooperation Service and the Private Partnerships Service. This offer specifically concerns the Private Partnerships Service.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The assistant will carry out his/her functions under the authority of the Head of the Private Partnerships department, within a team composed of the Head of the department, the Head of Private Partnerships, the Head of Sponsorship of Skills and the assistant.

He/she will actively contribute to the management and monitoring of private partnership relationships, as well as to the prospecting and development of new potential private partnerships in order to finance and develop the NGO’s projects.

His tasks will lead him to work in close collaboration with other departments (development and communication, programs, finance, operations).

The tasks to be carried out are transversal and therefore require autonomy, rigor and versatility. Knowledge and/or desire to deepen understanding of the humanitarian sector is essential.

The tasks described in this announcement are subject to change depending on the work in progress at headquarters and as needed.

Main tasks :

1/ Support in the management of partnerships:

  • Support in the drafting of framework documents (preparation of project sheets, reports, letters, etc.).
  • Support for administrative monitoring (renewal of agreements, etc.)
  • Support in monitoring partner data (updating monitoring and CRM tools, etc.).
  • Support in communication on partnerships on social and professional networks and support in the organization of events and meetings with partners.
  • Support in writing pitches and proposals for grant applications and project presentations.

2/ Monitoring and Prospecting:

  • Maintain monitoring of news from private partners and calls for projects to be distributed internally.
  • Actively participate in the prospecting effort and making contact with potential private partners.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Higher studies (political science, humanitarian, international relations, business studies, communication, commerce);
  • Autonomous and proactive with strong writing skills;
  • Sensitivity to the mission and causes of SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL;
  • Fluency in French and English;
  • Prior experience (internship) in a company or association is a plus.

IF WILL OFFER YOU THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS

  • Internship based at the SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL headquarters in Clichy (92), Clichy Town Hall metro station
  • Intern with mandatory internship agreement.
  • Bonus: 4.90 euros/hour
  • The bonus is calculated in proportion to the actual hours of attendance over the month. (On average 1 month = 154 hours, or 22 days of 7 hours/day)
  • Public transport covered at 50% by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
  • Restaurant tickets at €8.90/effective day of training, with 60% participation from SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
