Mission and objectives
The online volunteer is expected to carry out the following tasks:
- To conceptualize and design the brochure in line with guidance and UNDP’s corporate branding guidelines (typesetting is imposed – Proxima Nova Rg) ;
- To proof read and edit the brochure ;
- To provide UNDP Algeria with the ready-to-print format and electronic version of the brochure
Context
UNDP Algeria’s new country programme document (CPD) for the period 2023-2027 was adopted by its Executive Board in February of this year. As part of its visibility efforts UNDP Algeria country office is seeking to edit and publish an information brochure about its new CPD and related projects and programmes.

Task description
UNDP Algeria is looking for an online volunteer to support the development, design, and edition of a promotional brochure about the Country Programme Document 2023-2027. The brochure will be edited in A5 format and is expected to contain between 15 and 20 pages. An ideal candidate has expertise in designing brochures and is able to translate ideas into designs. The Online Volunteer’s work will contribute to raising awareness around UNDP activities in Algeria.
Requirements
Required experience
- Professional experience as a graphic designer, preferably in event communication or sustainable development.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
- Excellent graphic design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, and color.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to guidelines and objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English. Arabic is an asset;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Available for a period of approximately 1 month;
