Acted Democratic Republic of Congo
The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) remains shaken by the consequences of decades of civil wars. In precarious situation, displaced people suffer from chronic food insecurity’ or diseases related to the lack of’ access to’au,’ hygiene and sanitation. Acted has been present since 2003 and works primarily to respond to emergencies, build resilience, co-build effective governance and promote inclusive and sustainable growth. Presenting today’ mainly in the areas of South Kivu, Tanganyika and North with projects funded by BHA (Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance), FH (Humanitarian Fund), ECHO (European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations) And FCDO ( Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office ), Acted provides a flexible emergency response adapted to acute and complex humanitarian crises by intervening with the most vulnerable populations. With seven projects underway in our different areas, Acted seeks to meet their immediate needs in terms of access to housing ( shelters ), food security, essential household items or access to water, while promoting a protective environment.
Acted currently has three different projects in the South Kivu Zone. A multisectoral’ emergency project in food and non-food aid, in CCCM and also in agricultural recovery. A rapid response project managed by the SAFER consortium operating throughout the South East region. And a project on the’Assistance d’urgence en Abris et articles maisonnes essentielles with displaced populations and hosts. With regard to the Tanganyika Zone, Acted is currently carrying out two projects, one on the theme of COORDINated’Action for multisectoral programming in camps and outside camps and another carried out in a consortium with the aim of supporting agricultural recovery activities and food assistance for vulnerable people. Finally, for the North Zone,Acted also has a multisectoral response project on’food assistance, agricultural support, economic recovery and’ Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (EHA) support.
Acted S’ is committed to act today and invest in the’avenir with the contribution of’a large network of partners, local organisations, global networks and different clusters that bring their expertise, their experience and their voice for the smooth running of the mission and the’ achievement of its’impact objectives. In the DRC, Acted is therefore active in humanitarian coordination with existing clusters and working groups, as well as’entities such as OCHA.
Main role and responsibilities
Le/la chargé.e d’enquêtes, de suivi, de contrôle et d’évaluation (MEAL) est responsable du développement et de la mise en œuvre d’un système approprié et viable d’enquêtes, de suivi et d’évaluation en ligne avec les procédures globales MEAL d’Acted et il/elle contribue à garantir que les projets d’Acted et les programmes sont réalisés tels que planifiés.

2. Développement de systèmes techniques
3. Formation
4. Contribuer au Mécanisme de gestion des plaintes (MGP) des bénéficiaires
Qualifications et compétences requises
- Diplôme Supérieur en Sciences Politiques, Relations Internationales, Développement International, Economie ou équivalent (anthropologie, sociologie, statistiques) ;
- Au moins 1 à 2 ans d’expérience en monitoring et évaluation de projets dans l’humanitaire et/ou le développement ;
- Expérience en évaluations participatives et en gestion du cycle de projet ;
- Excellent niveau de communication à l’écrit comme à l’oral en français et en anglais ;
- Bonnes capacités d’organisation et de communication avec le personnel international et national et les communautés rurales ;
- Flexibilité, capacité d’adaptation, capacité d’organisation, prise d’initiative ;
- Capacité à travailler efficacement sous pression ;
- La connaissance de la région d’intervention serait un atout ;
- Connaissance du Pack Office.
Conditions
- Salaire défini par la grille des salaires Acted en fonction du niveau d’études, de l’expertise, du niveau de sécurité et du niveau d’expérience : entre 1600 et 1800 € net mensuel (avant impôts sur le revenu)
- Monthly living expenses allowance 300$
- Guesthouse accommodation and food supported by Acted
- Social security, mutual insurance (MSH) and repatriation assistance (SOS International) supported by Acted
- Transport to the mission and return ticket fully supported every 6 months (to the’address specified on the employment contract)
- Visa fees supported by Acted
- One week of preparation for departure including 4 days of immersion safety training
- Possibility of’having a call of 30 minutes with a consultant in taxation
- Psychological support (meet with a professional.le)
