Action Against Hunger (ACF) interventions in Chad date back to the 1982s in the Kanem region and are associated with the various health and nutritional crises experienced in the country. Since 2011, ACF in Chad has placed the prevention, detection and management of severe acute malnutrition at the heart of its intervention. ACF confirmed in 2015 its willingness to base its analysis on an approach of integrating care within the health system but also by supporting them with a practical component primary health care, mental health and food security projects.
The ACF intervention in Chad aims to guarantee the nutritional security of the populations through programs in the fields of nutrition & health, mental health & care practices, etc, food security & livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene, and disaster management while focusing on cross-cutting humanitarian advocacy work with stakeholders in these sectors.

ACF in Chad is looking for its new Consortium Coordinator Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) /Emergency, based in Bagasola.

As Coordinator.ice consortium RRM you will be in charge of coordinating the actions of the consortium and representing the consortium to external partners, including, in conjunction with the country directors of the consortium organisations. In particular, you will represent the RRM consortium with the clusters, ICC, EHP or donors.
You will also be in charge of :
Define the strategic directions and operating procedures of the emergency response mechanisms and ensure that this approach is integrated into the country strategy ;
Preparing the mission to respond to humanitarian crises (humanitarian and security monitoring, exploratory missions, Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan – UPRP) ;
During possible emergency interventions, provide leadership delegated by the DP (quick assessments, response plan, coordination with RDD finance /logistics /security, etc.) ;
Funding strategy and donor relations by supporting the Coordinator.rice Grants, helping to identify potential funding opportunities, maintaining contacts with donors ;
Monitoring and evaluation of RRM/Emergency projects: budget monitoring, monitoring of indicators, field visits, definitions of standard operating procedures for sectoral or multisectoral responses, etc.) ;
Manage your teams (recruitment, assessments, skills development, social climate monitoring, etc.).

You have a Bac + 5 level diploma in a field related to humanitarian action, in project management, and/or technical training related to our areas of intervention (WASH, SAME, environmental management, financial management, etc.).
You have professional experience of 3 to 5 years in NGOs on positions of coordination or supervision of an emergency program on an expatriation position. You have a proven track record in project cycle management, monitoring evaluation and/or financial management.
You also have a good knowledge of the functioning/interactions of humanitarian actors (NGOs, OIs, UN agencies) and in particular the functioning/expectations of emergency donors (in particular ECHO, AIDS, GFFO, UNICEF)
You have excellent analytical, synthesis and good writing skills. You are recognized by· for your sense of organization, priority management and team spirit.
Thanks to your sense of diplomacy, your listening and communication skills and your leadership, you have been able to demonstrate in your previous experiences, a good ability to provide representation functions and develop your network.
You are able to work independently and have a good ability to manage stress and complexity. You know how to ensure good team management and effective performance monitoring.
You have a perfect command of French both in writing and orally.
