Coach Support Programme Internship with Yoga and Sport with Refugees – videography and editing

Completing an internship with Yoga and Sport with Refugees is a great opportunity to combine an academic internship with gaining very practical on the ground experience in a grassroots organisation working with refugees. The Coach Support Programme internship combines having a specific internship project with working in the gym and organising events.

You will meet weekly with the other interns, staff team and your responsible coordinator to discuss the progress on your project and where this might overlap with others.

Online Sports Package

The Coach Support Programme team works to improve and standardise the support offered to our refugee coaches in all YSR locations. Part of this project is developing an Online Sports Package for donors – containing a monthly workout plan, complete with videos of our coaches that people can follow along in real time.

We want to facilitate connection between coaches and their online students and train coaches in how to film their own classes. You will also be expected to support the marketing of Packages to donor’s

This internship is based in Lesvos, with the possibility of travelling to other locations.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum age of 21 years
  • A minimum commitment of 3 months
  • Experience in videography and video editing
  • Proficiency in English writing and speaking
  • Someone who is organised, loves to plan and has great time management skills
  • Someone who is independent and preferably has experience with work in NGOs
  • Someone who likes to organise events
  • Someone with some experience in administrative work
  • Someone who is eager to learn and is not afraid to take up new tasks
  • Someone with a flexible approach and able to adapt to different situations
  • Someone with some experience in academic research
