Mission :

As Logistics Manager, you will provide the leadership, strategic orientation and management of the commodity management activities implemented by the RFSA activity in Madagascar. You will lead the goods management and logistics team, responsible for planning, importing, storing, distributing, and, monitoring and reporting of all products purchased by the activity.

Specifically, you will be in charge of the following missions :

Establish and manage the product supply chain, including storage facilities and transport, for all products supplied by the RFSA activity.
Supervision and supervision of the activity logistics team, including coordination with the financial and activity management teams.
Manage relations with international partners in the activity in terms of shipping, freight and clearing agents.
Direct the identification and establishment of transport routes from the places of arrival of products in the country to the beneficiary populations, taking into account the annual variations in the viability of the routes.
Oversee the establishment of standard operating procedures for logistics management, to ensure import, storage, transport, distribution, monitoring, forecasting, etc, reporting and monitoring of all commodities of the activity.
Ensure that all movements of goods are properly documented and stored in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Profile :

You have a license in supply chain management or in a relevant field of study. A master will be preferred.
You have at least 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with experience in low-resource contexts.
You have proven experience in the management of food raw material supply chains, from sourcing to distribution.
You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
You speak and write fluent french and english.
Ideally, you have work experience in Madagascar.

Fixed-term contract of 24 months with the possibility of extending the contract according to French law or Malagasy law (Pending financing)
