ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

These jobs are located in WFP warehouses and operate under the close supervision of a main store.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Support receiving/shipping and verification of goods to optimize the quality of warehouse operations and mitigate losses, and support best practices in warehousing management in compliance with guidelines and standards WFP warehouse facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (non-exhaustive)

1. Support received/shipped goods, including transshipment (truck to truck), based on official approved documentation (e.g., transport vouchers and/or delivery notes), ensuring accuracy of physical count of goods, including quality in accordance with established standards.

2. Prepare and verify warehouse and transportation documents, and maintain confidential records and accurate records of warehouse transactions, to ensure immediate reporting of merchandise movements in accordance with company requirements.

3. Support daily warehouse reconciliation and accurate inventory checks in compliance with warehouse management requirements.

4. Conduct daily inspections and prepare reports on the quantity and quality of goods received/shipped and handled, and request supervisor to take appropriate action.

5. Support the implementation of appropriate measures to protect food and non-food products to ensure quality control using standard preventive measures in accordance with procedures established by WFP and authorizations received from the supervisor .

6. Monitor the condition of the warehouse and commodities and take appropriate measures to promote efficient utilization of warehouse space and well-organized storage of commodities in accordance with WFP warehouse standards.

MINIMUM STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High school diploma.

Language:

Mastery (level C) of the French language

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY INTO THIS ROLE

· Experience in monitoring different aspects of logistics operations.

· Experience in supporting warehouse management.

· Experience in supporting inventory management.

· Experience in data entry and extraction of routine reports
