You will be responsible for seeking funding in connection with the Country Director and you will ensure that ACF programs in Burkina Faso meet the vision and mandate of ACF and strengthen the impact of the organisation at the level of beneficiaries and different stakeholders.
Your main tasks will be :
Coordinate the operationalization of the strategic vision of ACF programs in Burkina Faso by aligning them with ACF strategies and approaches: you will ensure that ACF’s sector strategies are developed and integrated into ACF’s strategy and programming in Burkina Faso.
Coordinate the technical implementation of programmes, monitoring and evaluation and reporting.
Represent ACF and liaise with donors, authorities, UN agencies and other NGOs on technical operational strategy, programmes and advocacy.
Manage your team: you will be the hierarchical supervisor of the Managers of Technical and Programmatic Departments (RDD Techniques, RDD MEAL and the co-facilitators of the Food Safety and GCORR Cluster).
Assure the functions of Country Director in case of absence.

You have a higher degree (Bac+5) in project or organization management or any other relevant field relating to the activities of ACF.
You have at least 3 years of experience in planning and managing emergency and development programmes (ideally multisectoral programmes), drafting project proposals, etc, monitoring, evaluation and capacity building.
You also have a proven track record in leadership, complexity management and senior staff management.
Demonstrated experience in programme budget management and in conflict areas will be highly appreciated.
Good knowledge of donor procedures and strategies (ECHO/INTPA, AIDS, USAID/BHA, AFD/CDCS, SDC, BMZ, UN agencies, etc.) is required.
You demonstrate leadership, integrity and honesty.
You must master English and French, both orally and in writing.
