WHAT WE DO
SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an association of’ international humanitarian aid which, for more than 40 years, has been providing relief to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by responding to the vital needs of, drinking, eating, s’abriter. Particularly engaged in the fight against diseases related to unhealthy’, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions an expertise in the field of’access to drinking’water,’sanitation and the promotion of hygiene but also in that, essential, of, food security and means of’. Present in about twenty countries, SI – 2000 teams in total composed of’expatriates, national staffs, permanent staff at headquarters, etc,some volunteers..- intervene with professionalism and commitment in respect of cultures.
THE MISSION
Solidarity International has been present in the Sahelian band since 2008 and operates in several countries: Chad, Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger. The’extension of the’ zones of armed groups operating in these countries has security and humanitarian repercussions in the north of the Gulf of Guinea or SI countries conducted exploratory missions in 2023. Following this mission, it was decided to’ intervene north of Benin and Togo Benin on structurally fragile areas where displacements are observed.
Solidarities intends to implement a humanitarian strategy S’ based on three axes : Support on the structural needs of the targeted areas, support to refugees, displaced persons and host communities on the’accueil areas, etc, and finally taking into account the immediate needs of newcomers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
General objective :
Supply chain management, premises management, energy and fleet management, inventory management, equipment management, support for safety and security management.
Specific issues: Opening of the mission and bases
Priorities for the first 2-3 months :
Office opening: buildings, operation and conditions
Recruitment, induction and organization of logistics teams
Creation of a logistics contact book and external entities
Analysis of logistics aspects at national level
YOUR PROFILE
Training and experience :
Graduated or master’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent
Technical skills and qualities sought :
Supply chain and operational logistics management : procedure, strategy, import/clearance, tool tracking, archiving, etc.
Competence in technical areas of logistics: communication equipment (telephony, internet, radio, tracker, etc.), building trades (electricity, plumbing, construction, etc.), thermal/energy (motorized craft, solar energy/battery, etc.)
Team management
Management of security (support)
Languages :
French is mandatory (spoken and written)

IF YOU WILL OFFER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
An employee position: According to experience, from 2310 EUR gross per month ( 2100 EUR basic salary + 10% annual leave allowance paid monthly ) and a monthly Per Diem of EUR 700.
SI also covers accommodation and travel costs between the country of origin of the expatriate and the place of employment.
Breaks: During the mission, a work-study system is implemented at the rate of 7 working days every three months ( with USD 850 allocated by Solidarités International ). In addition to these break periods, there is an additional day of rest per month worked.
Social and medical coverage: Expatriates benefit from insurance which reimburses all health costs ( including medical and surgical costs, dental and eye care, repatriation ) and a pension system including war risks. The necessary vaccination and malaria treatment costs are reimbursed.
