Surveyors Leader – Transcriptionist and Surveyors – Puerto Asis_EBA_REACH At Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development

REACH is an international humanitarian initiative, founded in 2010, the product of a collaboration between two international NGOs, ACTED and IMPACT Initiatives, and the United Nations UNOSAT program. REACH teams develop needs assessments, and sectoral and multi-sectoral assessments, in order to close information gaps and support the planning and decision-making of humanitarian actors in contexts of emergency, reconstruction and development.

Since its arrival in Colombia in 2019, REACH has been implementing evaluations focused on understanding the magnitude and characteristics of the country’s displacement phenomena and humanitarian crises. Specifically, recent REACH evaluations in Colombia and the region have focused on:

● Identify needs and trends of movement of the migrant and displaced population in transit;

● Assess multisectoral needs of displaced and host populations in Colombia;

● Characterize the living conditions and humanitarian needs of the population in Venezuela;

● Follow up on prices of basic goods and services in Colombia and Venezuela;

● Evaluate in depth, from mixed methods of social research, humanitarian needs in a specific and geo-referenced context where displaced, migrant and host populations coexist;

The results of these evaluations can be consulted in the following direction.
