Stage Support promotion of the 160th anniversary of the French Red Cross At French Red Cross

With a very fine territorial network, the French Red Cross is at the head of 624 health, social, medico-social and training establishments and services. These establishments, dedicated to care and support, aim to restore the power of people accompanied to act.

The 2030 strategy of the French Red Cross intends to make these establishments the essential places for the resilience of populations. Developing a singular vision of the «take care», anchored in prevention and a psychosocial approach, these institutions participate in the resilience of populations in vulnerable situations: early childhood, childhood to protect, age, disability, illness, exclusion…

Mobilizable in the event of a crisis, these institutions are also major players in the resilience of territories, as they have demonstrated during the health crisis or, more recently, in the past, during the war in Ukraine. Faced with the multiplication of crises, they are thus destined to participate in the response to the’urgency, by becoming sources of resilience and by promoting the commitment of all.

Thanks to a determination and an unfailing will, he succeeded in just four years to convince the powerful that’a world of progress cannot do without fraternity, solidarity. The Red Cross was born…
