Purpose:
The role is to provide project management and administrative support to the CABI Academy team.
Key accountabilities:
- To ensure the team manages its project allocations efficiently.
- To ensure the team meets its project commitments.
- To approve supplier invoices up to set limits, and to approve team timesheets.
- To provide regular updates to the Digital Learning Manager on current spend and project progress.
- To maintain accurate records of project completion and spending.
- To maintain a risks and issues register.
- To escalate when spend, risks, issues and timelines exceed agreed limits.
Essential Experience:
- Experience as a project manager – working with projects worth at least £250,000.
- Experience across both waterfall and agile environments – able to adopt methods pragmatically.
- Experience within a complex, matrix managed organisation.
Desirable Industrial/Commercial Experience:
- International development

- Publishing
- Digital content development
- eLearning/online learning
- Professional education
Education & Qualifications:
- Relevant professional certifications (eg. Prince2™ Practitioner, Professional Scrum Master, Professional Scrum with Kanban).
- Degree level qualification which demonstrates strong numeracy and organisational skills.
