
The Project Management Support Analyst will work directly under the supervision of the Project Manager and in close collaboration with other projects. S/he will be expected to support the PM in maintaining and strengthening relationships with implementing partners, working group members, and relevant UN agencies and other stakeholders.
S/he will be responsible for the following:
● Provide assistance to Project Manager during project life cycle, contributing to activity design and development, implementation, field supervision, monitoring and evaluation, and closure, by performing the following tasks:
- Provide written inputs for reports, proposals, terms of reference, requests for proposals, or call for proposals;
- Edit and revise inputs, documents, and tables for accuracy;
- Coordinate timely receipt of required inputs from implementing partners;
- Maintain updated information table detailing any security incidents in area of operations;
- Read and provide written comments on monthly, milestone, and final progress reports submitted by partners;
- Maintain milestone schedule table to insure that activities , reporting and payments are on time according to the GSA;
- As requested, visit project activities in the field to verify reported information;
- Verify that key activity documents are up-to-date including the reporting tools and forms , such as asset right-of-use documents, IMSMA forms, asset log etc….
- Follow up and monitor the work of the implementing partner as per approved training, work plans, task orders and budget
● As assigned by the Project Manager, assume responsibility for a specific activity or task within the Project portfolio, maintain updated information about that activity/task, and be prepared to answer information requests and provide updates about upon request;
● Draft well-written, properly researched, and edited narrative inputs for reports, terms of references, and proposals, as requested, which are free of grammatical, spelling, statistical, and factual errors;
● Support coordination, organization, and reporting of working groups, focus groups, and other key meetings;
● Organize and participate in meetings with Project Manager and relevant ministries (Education, Health, Social Development) and other stakeholders;
● Support coordination of capacity development trainings and workshops by organizing events;
● Support technical (risk education, victim assistance, community violence reduction, community liaison and non-technical survey) and organizational accreditation activities for partners and potential partners;
● As assigned, travel to field locations to participate in quality assurance visits; participate in regional coordination meetings; meet with partners; participate in rapid, baseline, or impact assessment; and/or, participate in team meetings;
● Perform any other duties as might be required for the successful implementation of the projects
Education/Experience/Language requirements
a. Education
- Advanced university degree (Master or equivalent) in Business Administration, International Relations, Social Sciences, Developmental Studies, or similar field is required; or,
- First Level University Degree (Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent) with 2 years of relevant experience is required
b. Work Experience
- Relevant experience is defined as experience in Project Management or Project Management support, preferably with focus on planning, stakeholder management, and/or monitoring and reporting is required.
c. Languages
- Fluent in French (read, write and speak) is required
- Intermediate English (read, write and speak) is required
