Consultancy Description

This consultancy opportunity seeks to engage certified Project DPro Practitioners on an ad-hoc basis to invigilate and assess new candidates undertaking the Project DPro Practitioner examination. The consultant will work closely with the PM4NGOs Learning and Quality Program Manager to ensure candidates are assessed fairly and according to the guidelines provided.

The ideal consultant will hold the Project DPro Practitioner Certification and possess a deep understanding of the application of Project DPro, with practical or trainer experience.

Description of tasks (Responsibilities)

The consultant will coordinate his/her activities with the Learning and Quality Program Manager, which includes:

  1. Documentation Collection:
    • Collect required documentation from candidates applying for or renewing their Project DPro Practitioner Certification.
  2. Activities Analysis:
    • Analyze candidates’ activities and supporting documents against a provided checklist to ensure compliance and completeness.
  3. Invigilation:
    • Conduct invigilation of candidates via the DPro+ Platform, validating them as pass or fail within seven working days of completion of activities.
  4. Data Entry:
    • Enter candidates’ details, Activity Logs, and documentation into the PM4NGOs Knowledge System (Bitrix).
  5. Communication and Feedback:
    • Provide candidates with feedback on their results and handle up to one re-submission and re-assessment of the Activity Log and documents, if necessary.
  6. Deliverables
  7. Candidate Assessment Reports:
    • Record into the PM4NGOs Knowledge System (Bitrix) detailed reports on each candidate assessed, including observations and recommendations based on the documentation analysis and invigilation outcomes.
  8. Monthly Consultant Report and Invoice:
    • Submit a detailed report and invoice on the last day of each month detailing the hours worked and tasks completed.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency in written and verbal English and one of the following languages:
    • Arabic
    • French
    • Spanish
    • Portuguese
  • Candidates proficient in other languages are also encouraged to apply.
  • Deep understanding of the application of Project DPro, with practical or trainer experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and incorporate feedback constructively.
  • Experience and good ability to access online LMS and learning systems platforms.

Mandatory requirements

The following are mandatory requirements to provide the service:

  • The consultant must hold the Project DPro Foundation certification.
  • Holding or willing to obtain the Project DPro Practitioner certification within three months of being selected.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English is required.

Confidentiality, Data Protection, and Ethical Provisions

Taking into consideration that the consultant will collect and analyze sensitive data from candidates, the consultant will be required to:

  • Sign a nondisclosure agreement provided by PM4NGOs.
  • Comply and sign the PM4NGOs Ethical Policy.
