Context :
Under the responsibility of the Emergency Desk Manager, the Emergency Program Manager will be in charge of’ ensuring the follow-up of programs implemented in the field and operational and financial partnerships. The Emergency Program Manager will participate in the writing of the operational strategy of the Emergency Desk and will be responsible for the interface between field teams and headquarters support services.
Your main missions will be divided according to the following modalities :
- Contribute to the development of the operational strategy and operational strategies missions of the emergency zone.
- Coordinate the’ development of programs (logical framework, narrative, budget etc.) of the Desk.
- Coordinate the’ preparation of funding requests and reports due to institutional donors.
- Ensure the implementation of’indicators of M&E.
- Monitoring of the programmes implemented and the operational and financial partnerships of the missions.
- Ensure the’interface between field teams and headquarters support services.
- Ensure the correct application of the FIS procedures on the missions managed by the Desk.
- Staying at the’listening to the humanitarian’evolution of the geographical area.
The list of missions is evolving according to the needs of the’organization, non-exhaustive and non-limitative. The employee may be required to perform other missions in connection with his qualification.
Profile
- Diploma required : bac+5 in Political Science, International relations or humanitarian project management with a specialization in crisis analysis.
- Experience of 3 to 4 years in an emergency context within an NGO.
- Knowledge of the project cycle and the geopolitics of’intervention areas (Syrian crisis, Horn of’Africa and other current migration crises).
- Mastery of the project cycle and support tools (problem tree, solution trees, logical framework, monitoring and project evaluation tools).
- Mastery of English at’ written as oral.
Conditions
- Framework status, day package
- One-year CDD with the possibility of CDI thereafter
- Start in early September 2023
- 15 days of recovery based on a full year
