About Syrian Networks League (SNL):
An institution that brings together the coordinating bodies of Syrian Civil Society Organizations, SNL Started in 2015 and Officially registered in Turkey as a humanitarian league in 2021, gathered by a transparent coordination mechanism within credible, pluralistic participatory frameworks, aiming at mobilizing the energies of civil coordination bodies to ensure the creative expression of the aspirations of Syrian Civil Society, and develop its initiatives with the aim of advocacy for its issues and building its capabilities to promote comprehensive development. Syrian Networks League consists of seven coordination bodies. These coordination bodies include 140 organizations working in the humanitarian and civil fields in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey. An establishment that brings together the coordination bodies of Syrian civil society organizations, which are in agreement with the goals and mechanisms outlined in the statute.
Overall Purpose:
The overall purpose of a Program Officer (Multi-Sectoral) is to design, implement, and oversee integrated programs spanning multiple sectors.
For its work in Northwestern Syria and Turkey, Syrian network league is looking for a motivated Program Officer (Multi-Sectoral) – National Position.
As you will be part of the Program Implementation Department, you will support the management of multi-sectoral programming of implemented projects in Northwestern Syria and Turkey.
Key Responsibilities:
– Follow up on the project implementation process of (SNL)’s multi-sectoral programming activities in northern Syria/ Türkiye in line with relevant standards, best practices, and internal/donor requirements.
– Track the progress of the project activities and ensure the collection of project indicators on a regular basis.
– Monitor the expenses of the projects, use the resources, and utilize the resource based on cost proficiency, under both, internal and donor requirements, and monitor the forecasting of the budget on a regular basis in close coordination with the finance team.
– Develop and raise the required procurement requests and follow up on the contract process related to the project’s activities.
– Prepare high-quality monthly, periodic, and final reports to be submitted to different donors/management.
– Effective coordination with the supporting department to have a coordinated work plan in line with the overall objective as well as the donor’s policies and requirements.
– Close coordination with relevant clusters and working groups as well as with the other support departments: MEAL, Communication, Operations, and Safety and Security to organize and track the related operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
– A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
– At least 3 years of experience with managing agriculture, livelihood, and MPCA projects.
– Experience with data management, especially in the analysis of large sets of data and in data illustration
– Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to work effectively across a wide variety of cultural contexts.
– Experience in preparing technical assessments and BoQs.
– Fluent in English both in written and spoken skills.

5. Developing institutional civil work.
6. Promote participatory work and complementarity between civil coordination bodies.
