In this role you will bring your Humanitarian Aid experience to collaborate with M&E, Technical Advisors, and Program Management teams to identify needs and develops tools and trainings for our disaster recovery efforts infield offices around the world. A day in the life of a Program Management Advisor:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
- Build rapport with, coach, and develop core competencies in staff serving on Program Management Roles in field offices
- Serve on the Incident Management Team and deploys on Disaster Assistance Response Teams in a program management role to ensure good program management practice is followed and to facilitate coordination between Program Management and Information Officer roles
- Develop and deliver trainings, tools, templates, and resources for Samaritans Purse field office programs teams
- Provides Roving Program Officer support for field offices during peak seasons
- Provide program management support for Headquarter reviews for internal and external proposals and reports
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 to 5 years’ experience in humanitarian disaster relief and humanitarian development work; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in humanitarian project cycle management, ideally in both disaster and recovery programming.
- Ability to quickly assess training and development needs, and to define and develop relevant resources, tools, and training.
- Ability to review project proposals and reports, identify areas for improvement or clarification, and communicate feedback effectively.
- Public speaking and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, and other audiences.

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)
Travel Expectations: 80-100 days/annually; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary
