Early Childhood in Île-de-France includes 22 establishments, including 13 for young children, 2 family crèches and 7 child protection centers.
We are looking for a full-time permanent candidate to join our team at the Vaujours maternal and child protection center (PMI) .
Our PMI center, located in Vaujours, welcomes children aged 0 to 6 years for prevention consultations.
Each PMI center sees more than 850 children, offering great social and cultural diversity. Our teams are made up of pediatricians or general practitioners qualified in pediatrics and psychologists.

The role includes various activities, including:
- Weighing reception, parent/child reception, childcare consultations, home visits;
- Medical consultations for children aged 0 to 2 years, gynecological consultations and pregnancy monitoring, medical planning, screening for sexually transmitted infections, voluntary termination of pregnancy;
- Appointment with the PMI psychologist and health check-ups in nursery school for children aged 4;
- Middle school interventions for prevention;
- Approvals and monitoring of childminders in the Vaujours and Livry-Gargan sector
- Assessment of concerning information related to child protection, in collaboration with the social service or child welfare.
Missions :
– Ensure hierarchical supervision of childcare assistants and organize the operation of the center in conjunction with all members of the multi-professional team.
– Lead team dynamics around participation in the center’s activities, the design and implementation of projects and partnerships.
– Organize, coordinate, ensure the management of resources (human, material, premises) and their monitoring and supervision of trainees.
– Prepare activity reports/assessments.
– Contribute to the implementation of prevention, health promotion and public health programs and actions and contribute to monitoring their implementation.
– Ensure follow-up with the sector doctor and psychologist on abuse prevention and child protection missions, including the assessment of concerning information,
– Accompany children in situations at risk of danger
– Participate in the detection and management of situations of domestic and intra-family violence.
– Assist in the approval process for childminders and family assistants, and in monitoring specific situations.
– Promote health, prevention and monitoring missions in favor of family health, in particular by setting up childcare consultations in the PMI center and during home visits.
– Carry out health check-ups in nursery schools, in conjunction with the doctor and in collaboration with childcare assistants.

You have mastery of the regulations specific to child protection missions. Ideally you have already managed and led a multidisciplinary team.
