Your mission as a family assistant is to welcome you into your family, day and night, for a period determined by the Child Social Assistance services, within the limits of your approval, children in danger, entrusted to our establishment by the Child Welfare services.
The Strengthened Socio-Educational Family Placement of the Childhood & Adolescence Center 37 meets the reception and security needs of children or young adolescents (6-16 years) in difficulty by offering reception in the home of the family assistant (e). An educational team supports reception by implementing reinforced socio-educational support.
Our project determines that the family assistant constitutes, with all the people residing in their home, a host family.
Under the authority of the Educational Manager, the family assistant:
- Provides a child or adolescent with a welcoming and structuring living environment
- Ensures daily response to the physiological, security and educational needs of the young person received
- Participates in the development of individual projects as part of the system project
- Participates in the various stages of institutional regulation (team, project, thematic meetings)
