Position Title: Payroll Analyst

Duty station: Manila (Global) Administrative Centre (MAC)

Job classification: General Staff, Ungraded

Type of Appointment: Special short-term ungraded, Six Months

Salary: Php 52,600.00 per month net of taxes (all inclusive salary)

Context

Under the overall supervision of the National Payroll Officer and the direct supervision of the Sr. Payroll Analyst, the Payroll Analyst provides support in the development, revision, and implementation of relevant procedures, instructions, manuals, as well as internal controls and oversight mechanisms to ensure continuous provision of quality services by the unit and to safeguard the integrity of payroll data and results in Processes and Resources Integrated System Management (PRISM) for International Professional Staff Members Worldwide, Switzerland employees and non staff, and Philippine local staff members. In particular, he/she will be responsible for the following:

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Completed university degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field from an accredited academic institution;
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in direct payroll functions and/or financial audit; with knowledge of banking and accounting systems, generally accepted accounting principles, business risk controls;
  • Thorough working knowledge of payroll systems and procedures, salary calculations and accounting made through payroll systems;
  • Working knowledge of internal control procedures relevant to payroll;
  • Adaptation/knowledge in ERP environment an advantage;
  • Knowledge of IOM financial policies and staff rules and regulations, an advantage;
  • Experience with SAP FI and/or SAP HR and payroll system and applications, an advantage;
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Thorough working knowledge of payroll systems and procedures, salary calculations and accounting made through payroll systems;
  • Adaptation/knowledge in ERP environment an advantage;
  • Knowledge of IOM financial policies and staff rules and regulations, an advantage;
  • High level of computer literacy.
