Partnerships Manager Foundations (40 hours) At War Child International


Who are we

War Child Netherlands consists of more than 50 passionate professionals who are responsible for a large part of War Child Global’s income, all fundraising activities in the Netherlands and for the positioning and reputation of the organization. As Partnerships Manager Foundations you are part of the Institutional Fundraising and Dutch Programs (IFNP) team.

You are

Someone who is results-oriented, with political, cultural and organizational sensitivity. You have analytical skills and you excel in networking. You are a connecting link and you are able to bring people and organizations together in successful collaboration. You are able to strategically develop and implement fundraising strategies.

Your tasks

  • You advise on the development and implementation of fundraising strategies for the donor portfolio
  • You develop and implement the fundraising strategy, including account and engagement plans for various foundations
  • You proactively identify financing options and involve relevant colleagues where necessary, you provide internal strategic advice and manage the various accounts, reporting progress and monitoring results
  • You develop and strengthen a network of contacts with (potential) partners and stakeholders, associated with the donor portfolio
  • You promote partnerships that contribute to the rollout of the War Child Alliance / War Child Netherlands strategy
  • You strengthen the internal capabilities of colleagues in the field of foundations through expert advice
  • You increase expert knowledge about donors and partnerships within our organization and achieve higher quality contract management with the relevant donors.

Profile

  • At least 3 years of work experience in the field of fundraising at foundations.
  • Proven success in fundraising at foundations
  • Knowledge of developments and trends within the Dutch development sector
  • Proactive networker

  • Political, cultural and organizational sensitivity

What we offer

  • Salary ranges from €4180 to €5197 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week (the exact amount is determined by the years of your relevant work experience)
  • 8% holiday allowance based on annual salary
  • An employment contract for 40 hours
  • 29 vacation days per year on a full-time basis (including 3 predetermined days off)

  • Net compensation for home working and travel costs according to our hybrid work policy

We currently work in a hybrid form, with the combination of home and office.
