Mission :

Within the Emergency Preparedness and Response Unit (ERRU) team, your role will focus on the development of an impact assessment of emergency preparedness initiatives.
Your missions will be:
Mission 1: Participate in the development of an impact assessment protocol for emergency preparedness and response within Country Offices
Establish an inventory of the Preparation and response to emergencies at ACF since 2019:
Gather, organize and archive all data, documents and initiatives taken in terms of emergency preparedness at country office and ERRU level since 2019
Classify and analyze the type of media provided
Draw trends and analyze the impact of various initiatives
Write a comprehensive report gathering the analyses, observations and recommendations from the capitalization process of the various preparation initiatives that have taken place since 2019
Develop the research protocol :
Research the different impact assessment methodologies and identify the most appropriate for qualitative and quantitative analysis of emergencies (data collection and performance indicators)
Draft the study methodology over 3 years (including the design of the data collection tool and the database /analysis model)
Participate in the mapping and identify potential institutional and financial partners for this study
Mission 2: Provide support for the overall functioning of the ERRU and the preparation team
Support for the preparation and launch of the satisfaction survey preparation 2024 :
Monitor the quarterly mission readiness scoreboard and ensure that it is disseminated internally.
Participate in the weekly team preparation meeting
Ensure archiving and compliance with the NHF tree for all key documents of the preparation team
To carry out research work and documentary monitoring on innovations in terms of emergency preparedness.
Develop and formalize internal communication media (intranet, articles, publications)
Translate documents into English and French
Organize and take notes at meetings of the ERRU, CEPF (Country Emergency and Preparedness Forum), AAWG and internal workshops
Support the various administrative tasks of ERRU
Be in support on different files in support of the ERRU according to needs

Profile :

Currently in Bac +5 in humanitarian action, peace studies, development, international relations, political science, social sciences or a marked interest in the mandate of Action Against Hunger.
You are organized and rigorous· and endowed with a good relationship. A knowledge of the project cycle and first experience in development and emergency project management, international cooperation is an advantage. You are interested in· humanitarian action, and more particularly in emergency preparedness and its challenges.
You have a good command of the ( package more precisely PBI and Excel ) as well as a good level of English allowing you to work on a daily basis and to exchange with the different teams. An experience of working in an international environment / with various profiles is a plus.

Conditions of employment

Obligatory condition : Have an internship agreement issued by a school under French law
Duration of the internship: 6 months
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary Conditions :
Internship compensated up to the minimum legal hourly gratuity (on a basis of 35 hours per week)
Absence of examinations, university research and others
Transport : Support at 50% of the package between the home and the workplace
Restaurant vouchers : Supported at 60% by the association for a value of 8euros

Teleworking : Open to all·s and from the metropolitan territory, our teleworking policy defines the activities of the position requiring an imperative time of presence at the headquarters of the association, including, and allows you to choose to fully or partially exercise the rest of that time in telecommuting. For this purpose, a mandatory presence at the headquarters of 8 days per month has been defined for this position. Attendance times at headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing : 3 Days per month on average for meetings and group events and 2 days of mandatory attendance the first 6 weeks when you join the team.
