Monitoring, Evaluation And Learning Specialist At Center for Victims of Torture


Organization: The Center for Victims of Torture works for a future in which torture ceases to exist and its victims have hope for a new life. We are an international nonprofit organization dedicated to healing survivors of torture. We provide rehabilitation services to those who have been tortured, train partners around the world who can prevent and treat torture, and advocate for human rights and an end to torture. . Helping Survivors Heal (HSH) is a USAID-funded capacity building activity. CVT collaborates with torture rehabilitation organizations around the world to help them achieve their mental health treatment goals; organizational development; and monitoring, evaluation and learning.

Academic profile

  • Professional in human sciences, economics, social sciences, administration, engineering or related careers, with studies in project management, monitoring, evaluation and learning of social projects.

Specific professional experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in formulation, monitoring, management of indicators and evaluation of international cooperation social projects.
  • Experience in defining result indicators.
  • Experience in the design of monitoring, follow-up and learning strategies and instruments.
  • Experience in systematization of social processes
  • Experience in data processing and analysis.
  • Spanish language management.
  • Knowledge of English will be positively valued.
  • Located in Bogotá or with permission to live and work in Colombia.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, develop and adjust monitoring, evaluation and learning formats of Corporación Vínculos, (in conjunction with the work team), guaranteeing the quality of data, traceability of information and generation of knowledge.
  • Define indicators and data collection variables of the processes developed in the Corporation.
  • Guarantee that the formats for collecting monitoring data and processing information existing in the organization allow for the collection and systematization of quality data, traceability over time, and generation of knowledge.
  • Review, adjust and update the MEA manual of Corporación Vínculos.

Develop the structure and variables of the information system of the Vínculos Corporation, taking into account the updating of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning System, and the organization’s formats.

  • Document with observations on adjustments required in the Monitoring and Follow-up Manual, and in the monitoring formats of the Vínculos Corporation
