WORK OBJECTIVE

The enumerator (surveyor) will be mainly responsible for lifting and ensuring the quality of the exercises d
data collection. This within the framework of collaboration and development of a research project between Queen’s University and ACTED.
The project aims to know the differentiated impact of COVID / 19 between different population groups, particularly on the population of women, the LGBTIQ + community and people with disabilities. Similarly, data collection is estimated through the application of surveys to control groups. The selection and sample size criteria have already been established.
The enumerator team will respond to him / her project manager and research assistant in the framework of the present study.

OBJECTIVES:
• The Enumeradores team (surveyor) will be in charge of collecting information by raising surveys of the population groups already referenced, as well as the control samples planned for the study. Likewise, it will be responsible for the proper lifting, loading and protection of said
surveys and the information contained.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the quality of the data collected in the field: Registration of surveys, monitoring of
plans designed for data collection, monitoring of criteria related to number and
sample size, distribution by quotas, among others.
• Contributes to the achievement of the goals established by ACTED on the number of surveys to be carried out
• Reports in a timely manner technical-operational problems that may arise during the lifting of the enclosures and proposes solutions to manage them, in coordination with the project manager, assistants and field leaders.
• Ensures the proper handling of technological equipment arranged by ACTED and Queen’s University
for lifting the sockets.
• The Listener ensures adherence to humanitarian principles, policies, tools,
ACTED and Queen’s University processes, manuals, guidelines and codes.
• The Listener will keep strict reserve of all the information to which he has access and knowledge due to the development of surveys and that is private, confidential or whose communication
may cause harm, ensuring full compliance with the data protection policy and
ACTED and Queen’s University standard operating procedures. In turn, you must follow the
technical and methodological guidelines that the ACTED team will impart during its trainings.

ACTED GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
ACTED will provide the files, accesses, information and tools necessary for surveys to be carried out effectively and with the expected quality. Once the work begins, ACTED will provide access to the technological devices for the application of the surveys to fill out the forms for each survey. ACTED will be responsible for mobilizing pollsters to communities for the application of the instruments, as well as hydration and feeding logistics.

QUALIFICATIONS, HUMAN QUALITIES. KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIRED TECHNICAL ABILITIES

Qualifications:
• Professional or technical in Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, Psychology, Pedagogical Sciences,
Education, related careers.
• Knowledge and Respect for humanitarian principles
• Experience in data collection and digitization.
• Experience in data collection and digitization processes.
• Experience or approach will be valued with the use of tools such as Spryng.io platform,
sensemaking approach, Kobo Toolbox, or some other field data collection tool

Knowledge
• Management of interview techniques.
• Management of massive data collection techniques.
• Understanding the principle of confidentiality regarding information shared by participants and
beneficiaries.

Competences:
• Respect for humanitarian principles.
• Willingness and interest in participating in the training processes dictated by ACTED.
• Empathy.
• Communication and leadership skills.
• Adaptability to the conditions and dynamics of field work.
• Interest and commitment to stay on the monitoring team.

CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS:
• Weak contract, with a payment method per day worked.
• Fees from USD 25 per day actually worked.
• Location of positions: Caracas, Choir.
• 100% face-to-face work. – IMMEDIATE Availability. It involves mobilization within the zones
previously described geographic.
