As a major player in the social and solidarity economy, the French Red Cross manages a network of more than 600 institutions and services in the health, medico-social and training sectors. She is also the head of 12 regional institutes for health and social training.
At’international, the CRF intervenes in 16 countries alongside National Societies and 2 regional platforms (PIRAC and PIROI), on the following themes: Health and Disaster risk management.
As in the professions it develops and implements in France, the French Red Cross internationally places all of its missions in a sustainable humanitarian action plan. This results in an articulation of emergency, post-emergency, exit from the crisis and reconstruction activities aimed at best efficiency. The objective is to carry out actions with lasting effects and to allow populations to regain their full autonomy.
Our association also has the will to strengthen its presence and the promotion of its priority commitments within the International Movement.

Its Directorate of International Operations (DOI) is present in twenty countries, including Africa, the Middle East/Europe and in the Indian Ocean and Caribbean area via its Regional Action Platforms (RIPs). Its fields of intervention are varied: health, water and sanitation, food security and livelihoods, psychosocial support and disaster risk reduction, both in contexts of’ emergency and in a perspective of recovery of populations after a crisis.

To ensure in an optimal way (quality/cost/time) the’supply of the products, materials and equipment necessary for the realization of international programs : organize purchases made at headquarters for international programs by guaranteeing costs/delays/quality and compliance with procedures, organize international transport.
Optimally ensure the management of stocks of the International Operations Directorate: set up and monitor dedicated processes and tools, etc, ensure the rotation of stocks so that delegations can be supplied as soon as possible.
