Result of ServiceThis consultancy focuses mainly on the development of studies and activities aimed at sustainable mobility in Latin American Cities, in its component of taking advantage of the benefits and the economic and financial advantages generated by original or incremental investments in sustainable mobility ( Axes 1-2-3 ) within Phase II of the project “Inclusive, sustainable and intelligent cities within the framework of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean “, of the ECLAC-BMZ / GIZ Program 2022-2024.

Duties andResponsibilities

The central objective of this contract is the development of research activities for the development of the study in the city of Bogotá within the set of studies on the use of co-benefits and economic and financial advantages generated by shares and investments in public mobility ( ECLAC-IDOS dialogue agenda ). The theme of the study will be the use of economic opportunities generated by public transport systems in Bogotá, which will be discussed with cases of Asian cities ( provided by IDOS ). The activities will be carried out in dialogue with the other two studies in this dialogue agenda. The previous actions are aimed at developing Indicator R3.1 on Public Policy Recommendations on Institutionality,mechanisms and regulation aimed at taking advantage of the economic and financial advantages generated by original or incremental investments in sustainable mobility / electromobility.

Qualifications / special skillsDemonstrate at least two ( 2 ) years of professional experience in topics related to urban planning, urban public policy, economy, or mobility. Demonstrate experience in Colombia. Work experience is required in projects implemented by the United Nations system. Bachelor’s studies in economics, transportation engineering, or public administration. Desirable master’s degree in economics, urban studies, transportation, public or related policies.
