Objective of the position: The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for providing administrative, operational and/or technical support in the DRC operation processes when the operation requires it, in accordance with the internal framework of DRC Venezuela, the regulations imposed by the donors and Venezuelan regulations; He will be under the supervision of the Human Resources team leader.
Responsibilities:
Compensation & Benefits:
- Manage payroll and compensation processes (vacations, vacation bonuses, statutory benefits, settlements) appropriately in accordance with local law.
- Keep parafiscals updated and follow up on payments at specific times (IVSS, FAOV, INCES).
- Carry out the correct monitoring of new entries to each of the platforms and include them in the payroll according to the calendar.
- Develop and implement the project for evaluating steps in the salary scale.
- Review of salary study results for possible salary adjustments.
Evaluation and performance:
- Implement evaluation and performance project at the national level
- Give regular presentations on how to create performance objectives and the correct loading in Dynamics.
- Carry out quarterly monitoring of performance objectives and support direct managers in creating and closing them.
- Facilitate training on performance and career plans.
- Create 360 Evaluation methodology aligned with DRC core competencies.
- Implement salary progression project according to performance.
- Create training associated with feedback and management of poor performance.
Wellness program:
- Monitor the processes of inclusion of new admissions into private health insurance.
- Coordinate bimonthly meetings with the insurance broker and new entrants for optimal use of the policy and each of its procedures.
- Support with the management of the wellness program at the national level.
- Development and implementation of initiatives associated with job security (pre-entry, annual and post-employment exams).
Personnel exit and termination processes.
- Conduct exit interviews with each of the graduates.
- Perform employee termination in ERP Dynamics.
- Calculation and monitoring of settlements according to local law
Others:
- Improve implemented processes that promote agility and innovation in Human Resources.
- Support the activities of Human Resources of Venezuela when the level of the operation requires it.
- Support the team with different activities depending on the operation.
- Effective and efficient management of ERP (Dynamics)
- Support in the management of recruitment processes as the operation warrants it
Experiences and skills:
- Minimum two or three years of work experience performing Human Resources administrative tasks, preferably related to an NGO or other non-profit organization
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in an intercultural environment
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Capacity for teamwork
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize activities.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills and communication skills, both oral and written
- Willingness and ability to learn
Education
Professional in Administrative Sciences, Occupational Health, Psychology with organizational emphasis or related.
Desirable: Proficiency in the English language / Intermediate level.
