Yoga and Sport With Refugees is looking for a HR manager!
Yoga and Sport With Refugees (YSR) was born in October 2017 on the island of Lesvos, Greece, in response to the massive need for healthy safe spaces, the sense of community and a place to work on mental and physical health. In September 2020, we expanded to Athens. Through cooperation with Habibi Works and KOIZ Centre for Postcolonial Studies, we started Habibi and Sport with Refugees in Ioannina in 2021 and we are now starting a project in Paris. Every day we offer more than 20 different sports activities to approximately 400 people. Our model is unique with over 70 of our past and current coaches coming from a refugee background.
Due to the growth of the organisation, we are looking for someone to manage human resources. This is a key position, to ensure the wellbeing of our multicultural team and provide support over our four locations.
You will be in charge of the recruitment and onboarding processes, handovers to new members of our team, evaluating the needs of our coordinators and finding solutions to address these needs. Capacity building and skills training is also at the heart of our strategy and you will be involved in strengthening and improving the coordinators and intern support and capacity development program.

The position can be based on Lesvos, in Athens or Ioannina.

Compensation:
- 550 euros plus accommodation support up to 250 euro if necessary, to start with
Responsibilities:
- The recruitment, onboarding, development of the team members : coordinators, interns and volunteers
- Greek legal administrative tasks, contracts, insurance process
- The review and improvement of the HR structure
- The administration: google sheets, contracts, drive, emails, etc…
- Focus point for the staff
- Organize and plan trainings
- Engaging the coordinators and assisting in their development
- Reporting and weekly meetings with the YSR team
- Take additional responsibilities to be defined with the team
