DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSOCIATION
La Chaîne de l’Espoir is an international NGO founded in 1994. Its mission is to strengthen health systems to give everyone, and in particular children, the same chances of survival and development. We operate in 28 countries with a global approach, focused on the child but also on mothers and disadvantaged communities:
- Prevention and screening from an early age, particularly within the framework of school health programs.
- Care and surgery, to meet the most urgent needs of children and their mothers.
- Training and skills transfer to local teams thanks to our international network of experts in all areas of surgery.
- Construction and equipment of hospital structures adapted to local needs.
POSITION AND MISSION
The communications manager’s mission is to promote the notoriety and visibility of La Chaîne de l’Espoir as a field player. A true conductor, he works in close collaboration with the operational teams at headquarters and in the field to best define the communication, content and dissemination strategies linked to the news of the association’s missions. He coordinates all resources (internal and external) necessary for the production of media and guarantees good graphic illustration.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Communication media :
- As part of the 360° communications/collection campaign, in coordination with the marketing department and agencies: definition/optimization of the message, development of the off-line media plan, production of tools, negotiation of advertising space, search for free, planning and budget management, monitoring of KPI’s.
Editorial communication:
- Production of audiovisual content (video, photos, interviews, etc.).
- Management and production of the biannual magazine in conjunction with the agency
- Preparation of the annual activity report, the financial report, the Essentials of the association.
Operational communication:
- Updating communication materials
- Proposal/coordination, design and production of new communication media based on identified targets/needs
- Production: quotation, invoicing, printing, management of proofs, delivery
- Inventory management
Communication digitale :
- Website update
- Content production: writing articles, producing interviews/portraits, video editing, etc.
- Creation of emailing template with the marketing department
- Design, writing, production and routing of e-mailing campaigns
- Proposal of digital devices, development projects
- Support for the digital communications manager for the animation of social networks
- Photo library: animation and management of the photo library, ensuring respect for image rights and credits, ensuring the continuous improvement of the platform, relations with photographers/videographers.
Divers :
- Carrying out complete and regular reporting of service actions,
- Contribution to internal and external communication of the department.
- Market watch
- Participation in trade union working groups related to the profession
TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- BAC+3 minimum in Communication
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Communications Manager or in a similar position

CONDITIONS
- Permanent contract, framework status
- Full-time position, based at the association’s headquarters in Paris, 75015
- Start date: May 2024
- Mutual insurance covered at 80%
- Meal tickets worth 10.83 euros covered at 60%
- Reimbursement of transport subscription up to 50%
- Teleworking charter: Up to 3 days per week
- 23 days of annual RTT
- Salary offered: 34,800 – 39,600 euros gross per year depending on profile and experience
