We are Educo, an NGO that has worked in more than 14 countries and for more than 30 years for the well-being and rights of children, especially the right to receive quality education. With more than 170 social action and humanitarian aid projects, we accompany almost 1 million boys and girls, especially those who live in situations of vulnerability, poverty or lack of opportunities. No matter what happens, nothing stops us: in the face of any crisis, armed conflict or emergency, education cannot stop. Because education is urgent: it heals, empowers and protects.
In addition, we are members of the ChildFund Alliance, one of the main international coalitions of NGOs focused on child protection and present in more than 60 countries. Together with other people, companies and governments, we form a protective and safety network that works to improve the lives of children, their families and communities. To achieve this, we want to integrate into our team people committed to children’s rights, who contribute knowledge and enthusiasm and add to our project.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The person responsible for EDUCO’s Technological Transformation Area leads the digital transformation strategy and the implementation of innovative technological solutions to enhance the operational efficiency and impact of the NGO on its social mission.
This position manages a team of technicians with various specialties and actively represents and contributes to innovation and technological transformation groups and forums, reporting to the Director of Impact and Organizational Improvement, member of the Steering Committee.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the technological transformation strategy aligned with the objectives and values of the NGO.
Collaborate with the management committee to integrate technology into global strategic planning.
Technical Team Management:
Leads and develops a team of technicians with various specialties, coordinating efforts for the effective implementation of technological solutions.
Assign tasks based on the skills and experience of team members.
Negotiate, supervise and implement with external suppliers the technological projects approved by the Non-Financial Investment Committee
Data Strategy Management:
Develop and maintain an efficient, sustainable data storage and governance strategy aligned with Educo’s strategy, market opportunities and best practices from other organizations.
Guarantee security, availability, ethics in data collection and handling.
Infrastructure and Information Security:
Gestionar la infraestructura tecnológica relacionada con la gestión de la información, asegurando su estabilidad, seguridad y cumplimiento normativo.
Implementar medidas de ciberseguridad específicas para proteger la integridad y confidencialidad de la información.
Alianzas, Redes y Foros:
Representar a la organización y contribuir activamente en grupos de trabajo y foros que promuevan la innovación, transformación tecnológica y el intercambio de conocimientos.
Establecer redes y alianzas con organizaciones del sector tecnológico que generen valor mutuo contribuyan al cumplimiento de la misión
Innovación Tecnológica y Sostenibilidad:
Promover en el ámbito interno y externo de la organización la innovación tecnológica centrada en las herramientas que contribuyan a la estrategia de la ONG.
Monitoreo y Evaluación del Impacto:
Medir, evaluar y reajustar la estrategia de transformación digital de Educo, en términos de eficiencia, eficacia y sostenibilidad, considerando el contexto y las prácticas del sector.
REQUISITOS:
- Educación: Título universitario en Ingeniería Informática, o equivalente.
- Experiencia solida en liderazgo de transformación tecnológica en ONG o entidades sociales.
- Conocimientos Técnicos: Experto en entorno Microsoft, así como en tendencias tecnológicas, inteligencia artificial, análisis de datos, y gestión de proyectos digitales.
- Liderazgo: Habilidades demostradas en liderazgo compartido y gestión de equipos multidisciplinarios presencial y en remoto
- Alto nivel de inglés
- Deseable buen nivel de francés

UBICACIÓN, CONDICIONES DEL CONTRATO Y PRESENTACIÓN DE LA CANDIDATURA
Ubicación: Barcelona.
Contrato: Contrato inicial de sustitución por baja temporal, a tiempo completo, con posibilidad de optar como candidato interno a las vacantes disponibles de la organización
Remuneración: de acuerdo con las tablas salariales de Educo
