The Administration and Finance Manager guarantees the efficient administration of financial and administrative resources, providing services and timely information for decision-making.
Main functions and / or responsibilities:
- It will ensure the correct administration of economic and financial resources, in the implementation of Programs and Projects, as well as in all processes of acquisition of goods and services.
- In coordination with the National Directorate, the program area and the regions, build and consolidate the Annual Budget of Educo El Salvador.
- Guarantee the adequate management of the resources of the country office, in the rigorous compliance with the national reference regulations.
- Ensure the presentation of the financial statements based on the accounting regulations and laws of the country.
- Advise the National Directorate on the Financial Country strategy, risk identification, and new tools and initiatives to improve the internal management of the country office.
- It leads the financial monitoring of the multi-donor country budget, constantly monitoring the degree of progress of the goals defined in the financial plan, analyzing possible deviations proposed by corrective measures.
- Prepare forecasts of programmatic and operational expenses, ensuring that financial needs are met based on donor requirements.
- Ensures compliance with internal and external administrative, financial, legal, labor processes in a timely manner.
Required profile:
Bachelor of Public Accounting / Business Administration with a specialization in Finance.
Other knowledge:
- Updated knowledge of the country’s tax and labor laws.
- Internal Control and Financial Reporting.
- ICT tools, Microsoft Office, Power BI and Web Systems.
- Application of tax laws, legal framework in administrative matters.
- Administrative, financial and operational management reports.
- Preparation of Financial Reports to donors.
- Advanced Excel.
- 4×4 vehicle driver’s license.
- Basic level of the English language.
- Updated knowledge of IFRS for SMEs.
LABOR EXPERIENCE:
- At least five years in a similar position performing functions in accounting-financial management, preferably in NGOs and / or international cooperation entities.
- Budget management of non-profit entities and international donors.
- Experience in the management of accounting software of preference ERP.
- Monitoring and financial control of projects with partner organizations and international donors.
- Cash flow preparation and financial projections
- Preparation of financial projections.
- Extensive experience in general budget formulation and for international donors.
- Knowledge in purchasing processes
