WHAT DO WE DO …
SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association which, for more than 40 years, has provided relief to populations victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by responding to vital needs, drinking, eating and shelter. Particularly committed to the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and promotion hygiene but also in the essential aspect of food security and means of existence. Present in around twenty countries, the SI teams – 2,000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, a few volunteers, etc. – intervene with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.
Solidarités International’s SAME interventions support populations from the shock absorption phase with food assistance and go as far as strengthening the resilience of their livelihoods to cope and adapt to future shocks ( see SI’s 2025 SAME strategy for more information). The overall objective of the SAME teams in the field is to ensure sustainable food and economic security for populations affected by conflicts, economic or health shocks or natural disasters. The SAME sector at Solidarités International will strengthen in 2024 with the arrival of additional resources at headquarters level. In particular, we wish to develop our activities to strengthen the economic security of vulnerable populations by supporting their access to employment or entrepreneurship, particularly in the agricultural and food sectors.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Regional SAME Expert (Food Security and Livelihoods), attached to the “Red” Geographic Desk, supports the teams in the following countries: Afghanistan, South Sudan, Myanmar and Nigeria.
He/She contributes to achieving an optimum level of quality for projects through different missions according to the specific needs of these countries:
- Development of the regional SAME strategy in collaboration with headquarters;
- Développement d’un portefeuille de projets SAME et de l’expertise technique y afférente au sein des équipes pays,
- Déploiement et opérationnalisation de documents de cadrage technique ;
- Formation, renforcement des capacités et coaching des équipes ;
- Représentation de l’expertise SI en externe.
Afin de mener à bien ses responsabilités, un déploiement sur les pays de la région sera prévu à hauteur de 50% du temps.
VOTRE PROFIL
FORMATION : Ingénieur.e Agronome / en agriculture, Technicien.ne agricole ou vétérinaire, études en développement rural, géographie, économie, développement local, sécurité alimentaire.
EXPÉRIENCE : Au minimum 5 années d’expérience en mission humanitaire ou au siège sur des projets ou des programmes Sécurité Alimentaire et Moyens d’Existence (dont au moins deux ans sur des postes de coordinateur ou référent technique).
Expériences dans une ou plusieurs des approches suivantes : agroécologie, approche territoriale, filière/chaîne de valeur, nutrition, réduction des risques de catastrophes, adaptation au changement climatique.
COMPÉTENCES TECHNIQUES ET MÉTHODOLOGIQUES :
- Compétences en conception, gestion et coordination de projets SAME (assistance alimentaire, appui agriculture/élevage/pêche, appui à l’employabilité et l’entreprenariat, développement des marchés agricoles et alimentaires, gestion des ressources naturelles)
- Compétences en transferts monétaires et approche basée sur les marchés
- Connaissances en approches transversales (mentionnées ci-dessus), notamment en approches permettant des impacts plus long terme des interventions SAME
- Compétences en réalisation de diagnostics SAME et d’études techniques en lien avec le secteur SAME (diagnostic agraire, analyse de marché, étude filière, etc.)
- Compétences en conception et mise en œuvre d’outils et de méthodologies SAME
- Compétences en réalisation d’évaluations intermédiaires ou finales de projets
- Compétences en développement de modules de formations et conduite de formations
- Bonne maîtrise des cadres d’analyse et des méthodologies et indicateurs clés du secteur SAME
- Connaissance des outils d’analyse en sociologie et/ou anthropologie est un plus

SI VOUS OFFRIRA LES CONDITIONS SUIVANTES
Poste basé au siège de Solidarités International, à Clichy la Garenne (Métro Mairie de Clichy) avec déplacements fréquents sur le terrain
- Contrat CDD, 6 mois, Statut Cadre. Contrat jusqu’au 30 novembre 2024
- Rémunération brute mensuelle de : 3 183€ ou 3 316€ en fonction de la grille en vigueur au siège
- Possibility of teleworking: 4, 12 days per month or 100%, in accordance with the Teleworking Charter in force and the manager (monthly flat rate paid for the 100% TT modality).
- Leave: 2.0833 CP/month and 1 day of RTT/full month of work
- Mutual insurance (80%), restaurant tickets (60%), Île de France transport tickets (50%) covered by the association
- Insurance covered during field trips and 1 day of recovery per weekend spent on mission.
